Equipée et libérée par Sachi Amma en 2018 et annoncée 9b, “Soulmate” située à Gozen Rock (Okutama) proche de Tokyo au Japon demeure potentiellement une des voies les plus dures du pays, et aussi d’Asie (avec “Soul Rock Dance” en Corée). Le coréen Lee Min Young, 24 ans, vient de signer une très rapide seconde ascension de la voie qui propose un 8B+ bloc sur réglettes minuscules en guise de crux sommital après un 8b+ d’approche et un repos. Lee Min Young n’est pas un inconnu, finaliste des championnats du Monde de bloc en 2021 et auteurs de quelques réalisations majeures comme “Jungle Boogie ” 9a+ à Céüse cet été ou encore “Furia de Jabali” 9a+ à Siurana il y a un an. Lee Min Young is no stranger to hardcore scene, finalist in the 2021 World Bouldering Championships and author of major achievements like “Jungle Boogie” 9a+ at Céüse this summer or “Furia de Jabali” 9a+ at Siurana a year ago.
