A l’occasion des 50 ans du célèbre site d’escalade italien de Finale Ligure qui arrivent en mai prochain, les vidéastes et écrivains italiens Michele Fanni et Gabriele Canu ont le projet de présenter un film documentaire et un ouvrage retraçant les débuts de l’escalade dans cette mecque transalpine. The climbing  aera of Finale Ligure (north of Italy) has rightfully been considered as a climbing mecca since 1968. On May 2018, Finale Ligure will celebrate its 50th anniversary. Michele Fanni and  Gabriele Canu have the idea to celebrate this event by filming a movie and writing a book that will retrace its alpine heritage. The aim is “to prevent the loss of these memories, endangered by the current lack of interest on local identities, identities that define our way to relate to a given time and space.” A nice testify about a mid-century of rock climbing at Finale Ligure and a memory of the footsteps of the early climbing pioneers who developed the 13 major rock faces of the place between the years 1968 and 1975.
