Le champion autrichien Jakob Schubert vient de passer des vacances à Majorque où il s’est adonné au Pscicobloc. Bien lui en pris puisque la semaine passée, Jakob a réussi la seconde ascension d’ “Alasha” (8c+/9a, crux sommital autour du 8B bloc) à Port de Soller, une lignée établie par le King Chris Sharma. Ensuite Jakob s’est naturellement tourné vers la célèbre arche d’Es Pontas à Santanyi, souvent essayée mais assez peu répétée. Depuis l’ouverture de Chris Sharma en 2007, seuls Jernej Kruder et Jan Hojer ont réussi à répéter la King line, célèbre pour son impressionnant jeté . “J’ai réalisé le jeté et je ne suis plus tombé ! commente Jakob sur son compte Instagram, qui empoche donc la 4ème ascension. Austrian champion Jakob Schubert has just spent an holiday trip in Mallorca where he practiced pscicobloc. Things went fast: last week, Jakob managed the second ascent of “Alasha” (8c+/ 9a, topcrux around 8B boulder) at Port de Soller, a line established by King Chris Sharma. Then Jakob naturally went to the famous arch of Es Pontas in Santanyi, often tried but not often repeated. Since Chris Sharma’s first ascent in 2007, only Jernej Kruder and Jan Hojer have managed to repeat the King line, famous for his impressive dyno. “I stuck the dyno and didn‘t let go anymore!” comments Jakob on his Instagram account, grabbing the 4th ascent.
