Sensation aujourd’hui dans les gorges du Loup où la championne italienne Laura Rogora vient de réaliser son meilleur jour de falaise avec la premier 8c+ à vue féminin mondial : « Ultimate Sacrifice ». Cette voie de conti très déversante démarre dans le 8b très pêchu de « New Power Generation » avant de récupérer la partie dure de « Last Soul Sacrifice » (8c) pour un ensemble très tonique ! C’est le premier 8c+ à vue féminin mondial annoncé, alors que jusque là seules Laura, Chaehyun Seo et Janja Garnbret avaient réalisé du 8c à vue, Janja, tout de même au nombre de 4 ! Laura en aura profité pour effectuer une moisson de croix à Déversé, avec la même jour « Trip Tik Tonik » 9a en 3 petites montées, mais aussi le très bloc « Just two fix » 9a/+, « PuntX » 9a+ en 5 essais (!), « Kinematix 9a/+ (première féminine) et enfin « Hot chiliX » 8c flash ! Une forme impressionnante ! Le 9b+ ne devrait plus tarder !

Today’s big news comes from the Gorges du Loup, where Italian champion Laura Rogora has just had her best day ever on the crag, becoming the first woman in the world to onsight 8c+ with “Ultimate Sacrifice.” This very overhanging stamina route starts with the very powerful 8b “New Power Generation” before taking the difficult section of “Last Soul Sacrifice” (8c) for a very steep line! This is the first female 8c+ onsight in the world, whereas until now only Laura, Chaehyun Seo, and Janja Garnbret had achieved 8c onsight, Janja with four to her name! Since few days, Laura is crushing the whole crag… After the 8c+ onsight she climbed “Trip Tik Tonik” 9a 2rd go. She previously also climbed in few days the very bouldery “Just two fix” 9a/+, “PuntX” 9a+ in five attempts (!), “Kinematix” 9a/+ (first female ascent) and finally “Hot chiliX” 8c flash! Impressive form! 9b+ should be coming soon!
