This spring, Seb Bouin made the first ascent of “Vidra la vida” 9b/+ at Elven Cave on the island of Hvar in Croatia, establishing the most difficult route in the country. The crux is marked by a furious 360° turn under a roof, a highly physical move after an insane 8c+ approach that proved challenging for Seb. This was a long-term project undertaken alongside the boltinf and first ascent of the powerful “White Snake” (20m, 9a) at Stiniva Cave.
