Après plusieurs jours de travail et plusieurs séjours sur place depuis ce printemps, le grimpeur transalpin Stefano Ghisolfi vient de réaliser son projet 2018, “Perfecto Mundo”. Une ligne très déversante de 40 mètres, nichée au centre du cirque de Raco de la Finestra à Margalef (Catalogne).
“La voie la plus dure que j’aie jamais essayée. J’y ai passé 32 jours en tout, à tomber beaucoup de fois à ce même mouvement. Mais cette fois j’ai enfin attrapé cette pince dans l’enchaînement (ndlr : le crux est en photo ci-dessous, un dynamique d’un mono à une pince plate) et cela m’a semblé surréel ; je n’ai pas fait d’erreurs après et j’ai fini en haut de la voie dans une parfaite gestion. Je rejoins finalement le club du 9b+. Merci Chris d’avoir équipé cette belle voie dure. Merci à Alex de l’avoir grimpée pour la première fois et me faire réaliser que c’était possible. Et bien évidemment merci à ma chérie Sara Grippo, mon meilleur supporter ; elle a été là pour moi à chaque sortie.”
C’est la seconde ascension de la voie après la première d’Alex Megos ce printemps. Stefano avait auparavant réalisé plusieurs 9b avec “FRFM”, “La Capella”, “Lapsus” et “One slap”. Il rejoint Chris Sharma, Adam Ondra et Alex Megos dans le club très fermé des grimpeurs de 9b+.
After a long process and several trips since this Spring, Italian topclimber Stefano Ghisolfi finally did his long time project of 2018 with the second ascent of “Perfecto Mundo” 9b+. The route, 40 meters long is very steep, in the center of Raco de la Finestra amphitheater in Margalef, Catalunya.
“After so many days trying this route, I can’t believe it actually happened, I just climbed the hardest route I’ve ever tried. I spent 32 days here at the crag, falling many times at the same move, but this time I grabbed for the first time that pinch (ndlr: the crux has been catched in the photo below, a dyno from a one finger pocket into a slopy pinch) and it felt unreal, and I didn’t any mistakes and went to the top with a perfect flow. I can finally join the 9b+ club. Thanks Chris for bolting this beautiful ( and hard) route, thanks Alex for climbing this route for the first time and made me realize it was possible, And obviously thanks to Sara Grippo , the best supporter ever, in every conditions she was here with me.”
It’s the second ascent of the route after Alex Megos this Spring. Before Stefano’s personal best was 9b with 4 sends : “FRFM”, “Lapsus”, “One slap” and “La Capella”. He is entering in the very private 9b+ club which counts Chris Sharma, Adam Ondra and Alex Megos.
