En mano à mano avec “Silence” (9c, Flatanger) depuis un mois, Stefano Ghisolfi s’en est plutôt très bien sorti pour un premier séjour de travail. En effet, le mutant transalpin a fait plus qu’un défrichage, enchainant toute la fin de “Silence” après le 1er pas de bloc, et trouvant d’astucieuses méthodes dans le crux de la voie qui tourne autour du 8C bloc (vidéos ci-dessous). Comme le font beaucoup d’adeptes du après-travail, Stefano n’a pas oublié de travailler un projet secondaire, qu’il coche au dernier jour de son séjour, avec la seconde ascension de “Move hard” 9b (première ascension : Adam Ondra). Voici son commentaire laissé sur les réseaux :
“Je savais qu’enchainer “Silence” serait trop ambitieux pour ce séjour, donc j’ai décidé de me trouver un projet secondaire. Mon premier choix fut “Little Badder”, un long 9a à gauche de “Silence” mais j’ai compris que c’était plus logique de me coller à “Move Hard”, un 9b qui démarre dans “Move” et finit dans le second crux de “Silence”. Je n’aurais pas imaginé travailler un jour dans ma vie un 9b en projet secondaire, mais “Silence” remet tout en perspective. Ces derniers jours je me suis focalisé sur “Move Hard” et comme cela arrive souvent dans ces trips, le dernier jour a été le meilleur et j’ai réussi à réaliser la seconde ascension de mon projet parallèle, “Move Hard”, libéré par Adam Ondra quand il essayait “Silence” il y a quelques années. La parfaite conclusion d’un trip magique. “Move Hard” et maintenant il est temps de rentrer à la maison…”

In his first mano-a-mano with “Silence” (9c, Flatanger) for the last month, Stefano Ghisolfi has made relatively quick progress. Indeed, the Italian mutant has done quite a lot more than just scoping the line as he ‘sent’ the route from after the 1st boulder crux, and found clever methods in the main crux of the route which is around 8C (videos above). As many redpoint fanatics, Stefano hasn’t forgotten to work on a side project that he ticked off on the last day of his stay, with the second ascent of “Move hard” 9b (first ascent: Adam Ondra). Here is his comment left on social media:
I know that sending “Silence” would have been a bit too ambitious for this trip, that’s why I chose a side project to try while working on it. The first choice was “Little Badder”, a long 9a on the left of Silence, but then I understood that was more logical for me to try Move Hard, a 9b that starts like Move and ends with the second crux of “Silence” (aka project hard). In my life I would never ever imagined I would have a 9b as side project, but Silence puts everything in perspective. On these last days I focused more on Move Hard, and as always happens in these trips, last day is the best day, and I managed to grab the second ascent of my side project “Move Hard”, freed by Adam Ondra while he was trying Silence few years ago. The perfect end of a magical trip. “Move Hard”, and now it’s time to go home…
