Après “Nehanna” et son extension “Nayuta” 8C+ terminée ce printemps, le pionnier du bloc nippon Dai Koyamada a de nouveau ouvert une nouvelle ligne extrême à Gero au Japon.  Il a en effet signé la première ascension d’un gros panneau bien déversant avec une rampe assez esthétique. “Yocuto” 8C de 10 mouvements est né. Cela lui a pris 10 jours pour libérer l’affaire. Avec pas moins d’une vingtaine de premières ascensions de blocs en 8C en plus, le vétéran nippon de 41 ans s’avère comme un des spécialistes de la discipline les plus actifs en matière de défrichage accompagné de Daniel Woods et Nalle Hukkataival.

After “Nehanna” and his extension “Nayuta” 8C+ finished last spring, bouldering pionneer Dai Koyamada has opened a new extreme line in Gero, Japan. He signs the first ascent of a big overhang : “Yocuto”, 10 moves, 8C/V15 is born. It took him 10 days of work. With around 20 ascents in 8C and more, the 41 years old Japanese is one of the most active climbers of the planet considering the first ascents in bouldering with Daniel Woods and Nalle Hukkataival.
