La Capella 9b pour William Bosi – La Capella 9b by William Bosi

  • 05/02/2020

Competition climber from Great Britain William Bosi just struck in Siurana with a quick repeat of short and powerful “La Capella” in Siurana. It’s the 4th ascent of this 15 meters line after Ondra, Ghisolfi and Woods. The crux lies in the very beginning of the route with an 8A+ boulder into an 8B boulder of 20 moves before an easy final (around 7b+). After a complicated beginning of trip in “Catxasa” 9a+ (Santa Linya), where he gave up because of holds wet by Gloria storm, and unsuccessful sessions in a 9a+ project in Espadelles, Margalef, Will took his revenge in Siurana. He sent the route in only 3 days, falling at the last move on his second working day. After three 9a under his belt, William is now the second Britain’s climber to climb 9b. The first one being Steve McClure in 2018 with “Rainman” in Malham.
