Il y a près d’un an, Stefano Ghisolfi libérait son projet “Excalibur” (9b+) à Arco, une voie courte et explosive sur des rasoirs dans un généreux dévers à 40°, avec un pas de bloc de départ abominable, estimé à 8B bloc. La voie la plus dure d’Italie, première ascension la plus difficile proposée par Stefano, et à coup sûr une des perfs marquantes de l’année écoulée ! Voici le film consacré à cette première, retraçant tout le processus de l’équipement et la découverte jusqu’à la réussite, après deux années d’effort pour le grimpeur pro italien : un beau portrait sur un grimpeur qui semble avoir la qualité d’être toujours positif et optimiste dans sa vision des choses, de manière à garder une motivation intacte quand il se frotte à la haute difficulté. Nearly a year ago, Stefano Ghisolfi freed his “Excalibur” project (9b+) in Arco, a short, explosive route on tiny holds in a 40° overhang with a crux at the beginning around 8B boulder. The hardest route in Italy, Stefano’s hardest fist ascent to date and for sure one of the most important feats of 2023 !
