Invité par le grimpeur pro Belge Seb Berthe à essayer ce joyau équipé par Florent Plaze, Tanguy domine les rasoirs de la voie et des mouvements improbables, comme un réta technique ou un double jeté latéral sommital afin de s’offrir son premier 9b. Last April, Tanguy Merard freed an open project from l’Abattoir (Grenoble) and proposed the first ascent of the very aesthetic “Hanigraal”. Invited by Belgian pro climber Seb Berthe to try out this Florent Plaze-bolted gem, Tanguy mastered the route’s razors and improbable moves, such as a technical mantle or a double dyno, to share his first 9b. Fragile fingers abstain!
