Anak Verhoeven a de nouveau frappé en falaise avec la réussite d’un nouveau gros projet, “La Planta de Shiva” à Villanueva del Rosario en Andalousie ! Après un nombre impressionnant de 9a et 9a+ à son actif, la grimpeuse belge franchit un nouveau pallier et signe son premier 9b et la seconde féminine de “La Planta”. Cette King line andalouse est le premier 9b féminin de l’histoire, réalisé par une autre retraitée des compétitions internationales, l’autrichienne Angie Eiter en 2017. La première ascension de la ligne avait été réalisée par Adam Ondra en 2011 et quelques répétiteurs de renom avaient aussi répété l’affaire (Schubert, Siegrist, Diaz-Rullo, Flor). Anak rejoint la liste très sélect des grimpeuses ayant déjà réalisé du 9b en falaise : Angie, Julia Chanourdie et Laura Rogora. Voici sa publication laissée ce soir sur les réseaux.

Anak Verhoeven has struck again with the success of a new major project, “La Planta de Shiva” at Villanueva del Rosario in Andalusia! After an impressive number of 9a and 9a+ climbs to her credit, Belgian climber reached a new milestone and signed her first 9b, the second female on “La Planta”. This gem is the first female 9b in climbing history, first sent by another retiree from international competitions, Austrian Angie Eiter in 2017. The first ascent of the line was made by Adam Ondra in 2011, and a number of renowned repeaters had also climbed the route (Schubert, Siegrist, Diaz-Rullo).
