Superplaf’. Le polyvalent grimpeur transalpin Gabri Moroni a réussi la première répétition du toit de “Ziqqurat” 8C à Gaby, un bloc bien rési en plafond de Nikky Ceria. Gabri a eu besoin de 5 jours de travail avant d’enchaîner et c’est son second 8C après “Story of 2 worlds” à Cresciano il y a 3 ans. C’est seulement le 3ème bloc au-dessus de 8C sur le territoire italien à être répété après le “Tonino 78” de Mauro Calibani à Meschia ( par nos frenchies Juien Nadiras et Antoine Vandeputte mais désormais interdit) et le “Gioia” de Christian Core à Varazze (par Ondra et Hukkataival).
En proposition extrêmes encore non-répétées en Italie restent l’arête à éliminante “The Mystical Patatohead’s Direct Edge” d’Alexandre Feicher à Gais, le “Kimera” Christian Core à Rifugui Barbara.
Big roof. Italian Gabri Moroni just did the first repeat of Nikky Ceria’s “Ziqqurat” 8C in Gaby, a resistant roof climbing boulder. Gabri has spent 5 days here before sending, with a very quick progress. It’s his 2nd 8C boulder problem after “The story of 2 worlds” in Cresciano 3 years ago. It’s only the 3rd boulder up to 8C in Italy to be repeated with Calibani’s “Tonino 78” ( by the frenchies Nadiras and Vandeputte but now forbidden) and Core’s “Gioia” (by Ondra and Hukkataival).
In extreme bouldering propositions in Italy which are waiting a second ascent, there are also the eliminant arete of Feichter, “The Mystical Patatohead’s Direct Edge” in Gais and Core’s “Kimera” in Rifugio Barbara.
