À force d’enchainer les voies extrêmes “anciennes” de Flatanger et d’en équiper de nouvelles (“Nordic Marathon“), Seb Bouin commence sérieusement à manque d’options dans la grotte. Lentement mais sûrement, le meilleur falaisiste hexagonal se dirige donc forcément vers ze ligne, “Silence”, premier 9c de l’histoire.
Pour se mettre en jambe et travailler la partie comportant les deux derniers crux de “Silence” (le 8B et le 7C+), Bouin a cet été jeté son dévolu sur “Move Hard” et nous faisait hier cadeau de la vidéo.
On sait que Stefano Ghisolfi travaille assidument le 9c, et il est fort à parier que Seb Bouin, peut-être même Jakob Schubert, le rejoindront au moins dans le travail du premier crux, le fameux 8C, à la saison prochaine.

By dint of ticking all the “old” extreme routes of Flatanger and bolting new ones (“Nordic Marathon”), Seb Bouin is seriously starting to run out of options in the cave. Slowly but surely, the best French sport climber is therefore inevitably heading towards the line, “Silence”, first 9c in history.
To warm up and work on the part comprising the last two cruxes of “Silence” (8B and 7C+), Bouin this summer set his sights on “Move Hard” and yesterday gifted us with the resulting video.
We know that Stefano Ghisolfi works the 9c assiduously, and it is a safe bet that Seb Bouin, perhaps even Jakob Schubert, will at least join him in working the first crux of the route, the famous 8C, next season.
