Ce bloc en calcaire a été ouvert par la légende Jerry Moffat lui même en 1989 et connu pour être un des premiers 8A+ au Monde avant qu’une prise ne casse et que le bloc soit refait plus tard par Tim Clifford et réhaussé à 8B.

Shauna Coxsey is the climber in shape at this first part of the year, with numerous extreme sends in bouldering since the end of winter: 3 8B+ and 4 8B, impressive! Shauna just achieved another great feat with a big test of finger strength and heelhook placement, at the Peak District (Cressbrook, Derbyshire): “Superman” (8B). This limestone boulder was opened by the legend Jerry Moffat himself in 1989 and was known as one of the world’s first 8A+ before a hold broke and the boulder was later reclimbed by Tim Clifford and upgraded to 8B.
