Voici l’histoire autour de la première ascension du premier 9A bloc du sol britannique par le prodige écossais Aidan Roberts, “Spots of time”. Aidan avait réussi ce bloc au pays (lake District) ce printemps. Un des blocs les plus purs et courts du niveau, non sans rappeler le célèbre “Burden of dreams” : 7 mouvements abominables sur des rasoirs de quelques millimètres dans une face lisse, à couper au couteau ! Une nouvelle référence du haut niveau en bloc et une nouvelle production sympa au passage, offerte par Wedge Climbing!
Here’s the story behind Aidan Roberts’ first ascent of the first 9A boulder on British soil, “Spots of time”. Aidan climbed this boulder in his home country (Lake District) this spring. One of the purest and shortest boulders of the grade, not unlike the famous “Burden of dreams”: 7 abominable moves on razors of a few millimeters in a face cut with a knife!
