La grimpeuse ibérique Ana Belén Argudo a connu un hiver très prolifique en Catalogne avec la réalisation de quelques 8c+ : “Eh Sukkara” (Margalef) , “Joe Blau” (Oliana), “Open your mind” ou encore “La Novena Puerta” (Santa Linya). La moisson vient se terminer à Santa Linya avec la réussite de “La Fabela pa la enmienda”, son second 9a, une croix inattendue qui s’est dessinée un peu par hasard en quelques séances sur place, elle qui s’était davantage investie dans “Victimas Perez” à Margalef cet hiver. La croix dans “La fabela pa la enmienda” a été dévoilée de manière assez originale, grâce à 5 mini- séries vidéo/reels publiés sur son compte Instagram (voir en fin d’article). La voie empile un 8c+ résistant de 30 mètres (“La Fabela”) avec la sortie classique centrale de 2ème longueur (8b+, 20 mètres) tout en haut de la grotte de Santa Linya, pour 50 mètres d’escalade et presqu’environ autant de développé ! C’est la 3ème ascension féminine de la voie après Janja garnbret et Anak Verhoeven. Ana avait déjà réalisé du 9a en 2022 à Cuenca “Cordia Maleficarum” (en vidéo ci-dessous), et est à Villanueva Del Rosario (Andalousie) jusqu’à fin mai pour tenter de projeter et de viser plus haut !

Iberian climber Ana Belén Argudo had a prolific winter in Catalonia, sending numerous 8c+: “Eh Sukkara” (Margalef), “Joe Blau” (Oliana), “Open your mind” and “La Novena Puerta” (Santa Linya). The harvest has just come to an end at Santa Linya with the success of “La Fabela pa la enmienda”, her second 9a, an unexpected send which came unexepectedly after few sessions on the place, having invested more time in “Victimas Perez” at Margalef during the winter. The send in “La fabela pa la enmienda” was published in a rather original way, thanks to 5 mini video/reel series posted on her Instagram account (see at the end of article). The route starts with a tough 30-meter 8c+ (“La Fabela”) and finishes with the classic 2nd central pictch (8b+, 20 meters) to the very top of the Santa Linya cave, for 50 meters of climbing and almost as much development! This is the 3rd female ascent of the route after Janja Garnbret and Anak Verhoeven. Ana previously climbed 9a in 2022 in Cuenca “Cordia Maleficarum” (watch the video above), and is yet in Villanueva Del Rosario (Andalusia) until the end of May in order to project and to aim higher!
