Suite logique des choses à Oliana : après avoir réalisé la première partie pour répéter la connexion “Mamichula” 9b il y a quelques jours, Seb Bouin empoche quelques essais plus tard une autre classique d’Oliana avec la King Line de 50 mètres de “Papichulo”, 9a+. Cette voie de Chris Sharma remonte le dévers central de la falaise dans une superbe traînée bleue. Une voie que Seb estime d’un niveau plus abordable que sa voisine de droite, “Pachamama”, suggérant un 9a+ facile. La voie se décompose en plusieurs parties, un 8c/c+ teigneux à doigts, un semi repos, puis le crux avec un grand derviche suivi par un dynamique avec une partie finale rési-conti. “J’ai trouvé la deuxième partie assez facile, ainsi que le crux du milieu avec le croisé. Pour moi c’est la première partie en 8c/c+ qui est la plus exigeante.
Cependant je ne peux être heureux avec la dernière nouvelle que j’ai apprise. Si il y a encore un espoir nous sommes tous avec vous.
Que cet incident nous serve de rappel, la vie est précieuse, on doit la savourer, avec où sans succès. Être vivant et capable de faire ce que l’on souhaite est une chance.”
Avant son retour en France, place aujourd’hui pour Seb à un check des mouvements dans la célèbre “Dura dura” 9b+ un peu plus sur la gauche de la falaise.

Following his buisiness in Oliana, after having climbed the first part during his first repeat of “Mamichula” 9b few days ago, Seb climbed yesterday “Papichulo” 9a+. This 50 meters King Lines etablished by Chris Sharma is straight in the central headwall of the crag in a perfect blue limestone rock. A route that Seb thinks easier than the neighbouring “Pachamama”, suggesting a low end 9a+. The route has diffrent parts, after a fingery and powerful 8c/c+ and a small rest, the crux proposes a big cross followed by a dyno. Then the final resistant part starts on a very good limestone. “I found the second part quite easy, and also the crux in the middle. For me the hardest is to climb well in the 8c/c+ first part. Yet I couldn’t be happy today with the latest new I heard. It’s a remind to us, life is precious, we have to enjoy it, success or not success. Be alive and able to do what we want is a chance.”
