Video: Adam Ondra, Vasil Vasil 9b+

Il y a pile dix ans, Adam Ondra réalisait la première ascension de “Vasil vasil” 9b+ à Sloup, non loin de chez lui en République tchèque, le 3ème 9b+ mondial après “Change” et “La Dura dura”. Adam a essayé cette voie courte et explosive proposant un crux autour du 8B bloc à plusieurs reprises, en 2002 puis en 2012 et en 2013. Adam ainsi que Will Bosi-qui a essayé aussi la voie-commentent ce fameux crux qui consiste à une relance depuis un bidoigt arqué sur une pince puis une arquée plate, à coup sûr un des mouvements les plus durs jamais réalisés en escalade sportive. Exactly ten years ago, Adam Ondra made the first ascent of “Vasil vasil” 9b+ in Sloup, not far from his home in the Czech Republic. It’s the world’s 3rd 9b+ after “Change” and “La Dura dura”. Adam tried this short and explosive route with a crux around 8B boulder several times, in 2002 then in 2012 and 2013. Adam and Will Bosi, who also tried the route, comment on this famous crux, which consists of a long move from an insane two-finger pocket crimp onto a pinch and then a flat crimp, undoubtedly one of the hardest moves ever made in rock climbing.
